New Curriculum Objectives

We have revised the key objectives used to assess pupils’ progress across Literacy, Numeracy and Science. This is to ensure that they fully reflect the changes made to the Primary Curriculum in September 2014.

There are ‘I Can’ statements available for parents to access at home, which will allow an in-depth understanding of the objectives that pupils are expected to learn throughout the year.

The following ‘I Can’ statements are written in a child friendly language in order to encourage pupils to actively engage in assessing their own progress.
