British Science Week is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) across the UK. In 2026, it took place from 6–15 March.
Organised by the British Science Association, the event brings together schools, communities, and organisations to explore and enjoy science through hands-on activities, experiments, talks, and workshops. It’s designed to inspire people of all ages and make science more accessible, engaging, and relevant to everyday life.
The 2026 theme, “Curiosity: what’s your question?”, encourages everyone—especially young people—to ask questions about the world around them and discover how science helps us understand it.
Due to Ramadan taking place during British Science Week this year, we made the decision to delay our Science Fair. This took place last Thursday 30th April.
Students activities:
To bring Science to life, our secondary students carried out a range of engaging activities aimed at answering people’s curiosity about science. Primary students were also welcomed to view their work and take part in the experience.
